1.2 Diode as rectifier: Types of Rectifiers, Half wave, Full wave (bridge rectifier and center tapped), circuit
operation, Input- output waveform for voltage and current, Parameters of rectifier: Average DC value, value of current and voltage, ripple factor, ripple frequency, PIV of diode, TUF, efficiency of rectifier.
